1/4 C oil (not olive)
1 lg onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 C water
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 can stewed chopped tomatoes
1 t salt
1/2 T worchestire sauce
1/4 t pepper
5 med potatoes, lg chop
1 16 oz bag carrots, lg chop
1 10-oz pkg frozen green beans or fresh
1 bag celery, lg chop
1 10-oz pkg frozen peas
1/3 C flour
2 1/2 # stew meat

Directions:
Coat meat in flour, save rest. Brown in oil, remove. To drippings add onion and garlic. Cook 3 min until onion is almost tender. Stir in remaining flour. Gradually add water, bouillon, salt, worchestire, pepper. Cook, stirring, until slightly thick. Add meat, heat to boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low, cover, simmer 2 1/2 hours until almost done, Add pot, carrots, celery. Heat to boil, simmer 20 min. Stir in frozen beans and peas. Simmer 5-10 min until all is tender.

Serve with crusty bread, and more worchestire sauce.
