1- 16 oz. can chickpeas (Garbanzo) drained
2 T Tahini (sesame paste)
2 T Onions finely chopped
11/2 T fresh lemon juice
2 Garlic cloves
Salt & pepper to taste
2 T plain yogurt or sour cream
1 tsp. cumin
1 T olive oil

Puree all ingredients in food processor or blender until smooth, add 1 T. water to get it to the right consistency... you may also add olive oil...
