Howard and Erma Crouch were very dear friends who Elizabeth and Jodie met while living in Shawnee. The Crouches went on to live in many other places and Elizabeth and Jodie visited them in all of them. It was a wonderful, vital, lifelong friendship between four kindred spirits.
