½ of a #10 can of dried apples
White or yellow cake mix
2 cubes butter
Cinnamon and sugar mixed
Brown Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place dried apples in a large bowl and cover with hot water. Let sit for at least 1 hour until apples have plumped up and are juicy. (I usually let mine plump up overnight). Drain. Line apples in a greased 9”x13” pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Pour dry cake mix over apples. Melt butter and drizzle over cake mix. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Bake at 325º for 40-50 minutes.

I got this recipe from my friend Carolyn Woodman who was in my Ward when I lived in Duncanville, TX. She brought it to one of those "make something out of food storage" events. I loved it and it has become a family favorite!
