2 cups cooked cushaw
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1 tsp.cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the cushaw, condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt in a bowl and mix well. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 425º for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350º. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes longer or until a knife inserted 1 inch from the edge of the pie comes out clean. Remove the pie from the oven to a wire rack to cool.
