1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 ½ cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
With electric mixer at high speed, cream butter and peanut butter until soft. Add sugars gradually continuing to cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt together; add in 3 additions; mix well after each addition. Dough will be stiff.

Shape dough into 3 rolls, wrap in plastic film or waxed paper and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Slice dough into ¼” rounds and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350º or until golden around the edges. Do not over bake.

Makes 12-14 dozen cookies.
