5 Bratwurst 1/2" bias sliced(I have used a Polska Kiabalsa also)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, sliced into 1" rings
3 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
2 c BBQ sauce
16 oz Cole slaw dressing
16 oz cabbage slaw
5 crusty kaiser rolls
Directions:
Directions:
Place olive oil in a pan & add onions and garlic, saute until golden and onions still retain their integrity. Add sliced brats and BBQ sauce to onion mix and simmer.
Place cabbage slaw into a bowl, add dressing and mix well.
Place about 1/2 c of BBQ mix onto bottom of a kaiser roll, top with 3 tbsp of cole slaw mix, and top of roll. Serve hot.

I used Dorothy Lynch dressing for the cole slaw, which was really good! and of course, no garlic was used in my version!!
