Ingredients:  
1 c. corn meal ( course ground or stone ground works best) 1/2 c. Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 c. Unbleached White Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 Egg
1/4--1/2 c. Honey
1/4 c. Oil
3 c. Milk or Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients. Then mix the two together. The mixture will be quite watery.
Pour into a greased 9'' x 9'' pan
Bake 50 min at 350' or until the top is springy
After cake is done turn off oven until completely cooled. It is the cooling down process that will layer the cake.
