2 sticks butter
3 C sugar
6 XL eggs
3 C plus 3Tcake flour
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 t vanilla
1 t almond extract

Use a tube pan, line bottom with wax paper & butter the sides.
Beat sugar & butter together until well blended: add eggs 1 at a time. Add cake flour alternately with cream, beginning & ending with flour, add vanilla & almond after well blended Bake @ 325 for 60 to 70 min.test cake with knife to come out clean after 60 min.This recipe also makes 2 loaf pans. Remove from oven , run knife around pan, shake a little & turn out on rack to cool. Dust w/ powder sugar
