1 pack of white navy beans,
2 packs of salt pork
3 onions, sliced,
1/2 cups ketchup
1 small spoon mustard (mixed)
1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Beans must soak over night. (Place beans in large bowl, cover with water. Discard water in the morning. Save the beans.)

Line up bottom of Roaster or Slow Cooker with sliced onions,
One layer of sliced pork,
One layer of onions,
Cover with beans.
REPEAT TWICE.
Barely cover with water.
Mix brown sugar, ketchup and mustard.
Pour over beans.
Cook low heat, in Slow Cooker, 4-8 hours. OR
In Roasting Pan in oven, 300' degrees for 4 hours.
DO NOT LIFT COVER.

These instructions are directly from my Dad, Louis. Word for word. He is 'famous' for his home made baked beans which we grew up eating. He has never written out the recipe before now. At 82 years of age....he still remembers.
