Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg dry yeast
2 c. buttermilk
5 c. plain flour
2 TBSP sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
4 TBSP crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Heat buttermilk to luke warm. Add yeast to it. Sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Add buttermilk/yeast mixture and mix well. Cover and store in refrigerator (overnight preferable) until ready to use. About 1 1/2 hours before serving shape and let rise. (I knead slightly and roll out dough and cut).
Bake at 400º for about 15 mins. (I prefer 450º and bake a shorter time--don't let them burn on the bottom.)
These are combination of biscuit/roll and great for freezing and pulling out a couple at a time for microwaving.
