4 Granny Smith Apples or other tart cooking apples of choice
2 -8 pk crescent rolls
1 stick butter or margine
2 cups sugar (I use 1 cup reg sugar and 1 cup brown sugar)
1 T cinnamon
12 oz. code red mountain dew (1 ½ cups)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350. Peel, core and cut apples in quarters.
Wrap apples in crescent rolls. Place in baking pan. Melt butter, add sugar
and cinnamon. Stir well. Pour over apples. Pour mountain dew around apple dumplings.

Bake 45 minutes to an hour—till Golden Brown.
