2 cans French style beans, drained
1 can peas, drained
1/2-1 c. celery
1 green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion cut in rings
pimento (optional, gives color)
1 T. salt

Dressing:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c oil
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Drain beans and peas. Sprinkle 1 T. salt over beans and peas, cover and let set for 1 hour. Then add the celery, pepper, onion, and pimento if you choose. For dressing, combine ingredients in a saucepan. Heat to dissolve sugar and let cool. Pour over veggies.
