DRY INGREDIENTS
1 cup flour
3 Tbs. malted milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder

WET INGREDIENTS
1 stick butter - melted in microwave
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar (heaping, not packed)
1/3 cup oatmeal (Quick 1 minute oats)
1 cup chocolate chips (semisweet)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. Cream together the melted butter (1 minute in microwave), egg, vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, oatmeal, and chocolate chips. Using a rubber scraper, add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Use the scraper and regular kitchen teaspoon to drop cookies onto baking sheet (5 rows of four). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and continue baking on the sheet for 3 more minutes. Then remove to a plate or wax paper and wait 5 more minutes before serving.
