1/2 cup butter
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
3 bananas, mashed (1 cup)
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
2. Add about half of the flour, the sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda, and cloves. Beat til thoroughly combined.
3. Beat in remaining flour. Beat in bananas. Stir in the nuts.
6. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or til edges are lighted browned. Cool cookies on a rack.
