1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
4 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º.

Combine ground beef, onion, salt and pepper; flatten into pie plate. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; carefully drain.

Mound mashed potatoes on top of meat. Lower temperature to 350º. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Spoon sour cream on top of potatoes; sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese melts. Serves 4-6.
