1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
5 c. chopped cabbage (1 lb. bag works great!)
2 cans (16 oz.) kidney beans - drained or not
3 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 cups water
3/4 cup picante sauce
4 beef bouillon cubes
1-1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion, drain. Add remaining ingredients, boil, reduce heat, cover. Simmer for 45 minutes or more. Stir occasionally.

Scoop into bowl, top with a pinch of shredded cheddar/pepper jack cheese and a little sour cream. Serve with cornbread and crackers.
