SESAME LOG

1 pkg of 3-ounce cream cheese,
1 c California white dinner wine,
1/4 t nutmeg,
1/4 t salt,
3/4 lb Jack or Swiss cheese, grated, and
½ c toasted sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese until soft; blend in wine,
nutmeg and salt. Stir in grated Jack cheese.
Shape into log about 10 inches long and 2 inches
in diameter. Toast sesame seeds in shallow pan in a hot oven of 400 degrees or until they are golden brown - about 5 minutes. Sprinkle seeds on waxed paper. Roll cheese log in seeds, pressing seeds gently into the log. Chill in refrigerator until log is firm enough to slice - about 2 hours.
Makes 1 1-lb. log.
