2 lbs. sirloin steak or stew meat, trimmed and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
4 garlic cloves, pressed
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. diced bell pepper, red and green
1 jalapeño, diced (optional)
2 cans fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can chili beans in medium sauce
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. chili powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Place all ingredients into oven safe crock or covered baker. Mix well, cover and bake for 3 hours.

I use my homemade barbecue sauce for this chili, it adds a nice sweetness.
