Buy 2 Wicks Pie Dough Crusts.
Place in a large mixing bowl:

5 peeled and sliced thin, Granny Smith Apples
a little lemon juice, to keep the apples from turning brown. Add to apples:
3/4c. White sugar, 1/2c. brown sugar , 3T. corn starch, 1 T. cinnamon, 1/4t. nutmeg
Mix well together. Put in a pie crust and dot with butter. Place second crust on top. Cut slits in the crust to release the steam,

Directions:
Make sure the sauce is bubbling that comes up from the pie. and bake on a tray or on aluminum foil so it doesn't drip on the bottom of the oven.
You can use a crumble topping, if you like instead of the top crust.
1 stick butter, 1/2c. flour, 1/2c. sugar, 1t. cinnamon
Mix til crumbly and sprinkle over the top of the pie and bake as usual.
