1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
2 egg whites
1 c. granulated sugar (if using frozen berries, 2/3 c.)
2 c. fresh strawberries sliced or 1-10oz. package of frozen
10-12 fresh whole strawberries
2 tbsp lemon juice (if using frozen berries, 2tsp.)
1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together first 4 ingredients and spread evenly in shallow baking dish.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle 2/3 of the crumbs in 13"x9"x2" baking pan.
Combine egg whites, sugar, sliced berries and lemon juice in large bowl. With electric beater, beat at high speed to create stiff peaks; about 15 minutes. Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon over crumbs and top with remaining crumbs.
Freeze 6 hours or overnight.
Cut into 10-12 squares. Trim with whole berries.
