1 1/2 cup Crisco
2 2/3 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups oats
Directions:
Directions:
Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Beat in vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat in flour. Stir in oats. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes or until browned. (I usually bake for 9 minutes, using convection oven @ 300º) Once cooled, sandwich cookies using Marshmallow Cream Filling.

I use a cookie scoop, #100, for nice round cookies, all the same size.
