Ingredients: SAUCE
2 small cans tomato paste 6 small cans tomato sauce 2 (No. 3) cans whole tomatoes garlic salt (to taste) cloves of garlic depending on your taste Leaf oregano parsley flakes pepper (dash) salt (dash) bay leaf -dash basil leaves -dash
MEATBALLS Amounts depend on quantity needed: 3-4 lbs. of ground beef or ground chuck 6 links of hot Italian sausage (cut into 2 in. pieces) Brown in pan. When brown place in pot w/sauce-put lid on and let simmer. Add to ground beef: 3-4 eggs , bread crumbs (either fresh or store bought) Add enough crumbs to give body to meatballs. ½ c. Parmesan cheese salt (dash) pepper (dash) 3 tablespoons spaghetti sauce leaf oregano to taste garlic salt to taste parsley to taste

Directions:MIX ALL ABOVE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN BIG POT. Heat on med. Heat with lid on. Turn down when it starts to boil.
MEATBALLS: Mix well with clean hands until meat mixture can be shaped into meatballs. Gently roll between palms of hands. DON'T SQUEEZE TOGETHER. Brown in sausage pan & grease. Brown on both sides. Put on lid. When brown put into sauce mixture with sausage, simmer for several hours. Meatballs should be tender. |
