1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, the beaten egg, and the soda dissolved in warm water. Sift together and add the flour, cream of tartar, and ginger. Add the lemon extract last. Use the press to form into spritz. Bake at 400 for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
