1 Leg of Lamb
Garlic
Rosemary
1 1/2 Tbsp Powered Sugar
1/3 c Finely Chopped Mint Leaves
1/2 c Vinegar

Directions:
Let meat stand at room temperature for at least half hour before cooking. Preheat oven to 450 º. Remove fill or paper outer covering of lamb. Rub lamb with garlic and rosemary, make small cuts in meat and insert slivers of garlic. Place meat fat side up on a rack in an uncovered pan. reduce heat to 350º and roast 30 minutes to the pound or until internal temperature is 175 to 180º for well done or 160 to 165º for slightly rare.
MINT SAUCE
Heat 3 Tbsp. water and dissolve powdered sugar. Cool and add mint leaves and vinegar. Let stand for half hour before serving. Makes about 1 cup.
