Cookies:
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. cashews
36 (approx.) whole or half of a cashew to top cookie

Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 T. cream
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla, mix well. Add in flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined well. Stir in cashews. Drop onto cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 min.
For frosting: Brown butter in a heavy pan. Add sugar, vanilla, and cream. Beat until smooth and thick. Frost cookies and top with a cashew.
