2 pounds hamburger
10 oz. spaghetti
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 T. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 large jars spaghetti sauce (I use Traditional Ragu)
2 c. shredded cheddar
2 c. shredded mozzarella or jack cheese
1 package pepperoni
black olives and mushrooms (optional)

Brown 2 pounds of hamburger and drain. Boil 10 oz spaghetti. Add 1 egg, and 1/2 c. milk to the spaghetti. Add the 2 large jars of spaghetti sauce, garlic, basil, and sugar to the hamburger mixture. Add hamburger mixture to pasta. Pour half of the beef/pasta mixture into a 9x13 pan. Top with pepperoni (and half of the mushrooms and/or black olives if you choose.) Top pepperoni with 1/2 of both cheeses. Add other half of beef/pasta mixture, top with pepperoni, (olives and mushrooms if you choose) and cheese. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.

We ALL love this!! It's very yummy, freezes well, and tastes just as good the next day!! You can use any pasta you want- our favorites are penne and spaghetti!
