4 apples, sliced
1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp butter
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples, sugar & cinnamon in greased 8 or 9" pie dish. Cover with aluminum foil and at 400º for 20 min. Cream well butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Sift together flour & baking powder & add to creamed mixture. Spread over apple mixture, bake 20-25 min. Serve warm with ice cream.
