4 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 light corn syrup
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves
pastry for 9 inch pie

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400º. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir until well mixed. Spread pecan halves on crust and cover with filling. Place pie in oven, and immediately reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until mixture is firm in center.

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or with whipping cream sprinkled with miniature chocolate chips or shaved chocolate curls.
