2 cups flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cold butter
1 cup plain yogurt - not fat free
1 tsp. grated lemon rind

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives. Add yogurt and lemon rind. Stir until moistened, form into ball. Pat dough out on lightly floured board to 1 inch thickness. Use 2" cookie cutter to cut scones. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 425º 12 - 15 minutes. Makes 12 scones.

*Can add 3/4 cup blueberry's - fresh or frozen, wild ones work nicely.
