1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 Tbsp. water (maybe a little more water)
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter and water together like pie crust and divide into 3 strips. Pat the strips into the bottom of cookie sheet- thin.
Bring water and butter to a boil, take off burner before adding flour. Add flour and stir quickly until becomes thick. Add 3 eggs- one at a time- beat well, but don't use electric beater. Add 1 tsp. almond extract. Spread over mixture and bake for 45 in. at 375º.
Ice with powdered sugar frosting made with slightly browned butter and add some almond flavor.
