2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Combine in a 3 quart bowl:
2 cups sugar 2 sticks butter 1 cup light corn syrup

Microwave for 5 minutes. Stir well to completely dissolve sugar.

Gradually stir in:
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Microwave, uncovered on high, for 3 minutes. Stir well with a non-metal spoon)

Microwave, uncovered on high, for 3 minutes. Stir well with a non-metal spoon)

Stir in:
1 tsp vanilla

Pour into buttered glass pan, or stir into a large bowl of popcorn. If you are doing popcorn you may want to reduce the last 3 minute microwave time to 2 ½ minutes (to keep the caramel popcorn soft and chewy)
