3/4 C vanilla wafer crumbs
2-1 oz squares of unsweetened chocolate
2/3 C butter
2 C confection sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/2 C chopped pecans, toasted
1 t vanilla
½ gal peppermint ice cream, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle crumbs evenly in ungreased 13x9 pan. Set aside. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Remove from heat Stir in conf sugar, egg yolks, pecans and vanilla. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold into chocolate mixture. Pour over crumbs. Cover and chill until firm (1 hour). Spread ice cream over chocolate layer. Cover and freeze til ice cream is firm (8 hrs). Cut into squares. 15-16 servings.
