1 bushel beans

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans in several changes of water, until clean.
Trim ends, remove strings; break into desired lengths.
Pack beans in jars; put 1/2 t salt for pint jars 1 t for quarts.
Fill with boiling water to within 1/2 inch from top of jars.
Place hot sterilized lids and bands on jar, screwing band tight.
Process in pressure cooker-water in pressure cooker needs to be halfway up jars when they are placed in cooker.
Cook at 10 lbs of pressure for 30 minutes for pints, 40 minutes for quarts.
Leave in pressure cooker after your turn out fire until the pressure gauge is at zero and the safety valve has closed.
(if you are on a salt restricted diet, you can leave salt out)
