1 c. pickling salt
4 qts. water
1 qt. vinegar
cucumbers
dill heads
cloves of garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Mix pickling salt, water, and vinegar to dissolve. Do not heat. Store for use later.

Pack cucumbers in jars with a clove of garlic and a head of dill (2 dill heads if small - one in bottom, other on top). Pour solution of salt, vinegar and water over cucumbers. Do not heat the solution!

Place jars on a cookie sheet. Cover jars with foil. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Place lids on and seal.
