7 cups flour
4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups warm water
2 packages yeast
1 tsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 2/3 cup of warm water and 1 tsp sugar. Combine all the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the 2 1/2 cups of water plus the yeast mixture. Beat with wooden spoon until ball forms. Knead 10 minutes. Let rise 3 hours in warm place. Make four French loaves (Roll out in rectangle shape. Roll in jelly roll fashion from wide side and pull ends out to taper) Place on two large greased cookie sheets. Rise for 1 1/2 hours. Slash and brush with cold water. Bake 425º for 30 minutes.
