Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 - 6 pork chops any cut (bone in or out)
1 small or 1/2 medium onion (optional)
1 cup fresh or 1 can mushrooms
1 package of gravy mix (pork, mushroom, or brown)
1 can of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Season thawed pork chops lightly with coarse pepper and seasoning salt then brown in deep frying pan with butter and a drizzle of vegetable oil until just cooked through . If using fresh onion and mushroom remove pork chops to plate and saute onions and mushrooms. Return pork chops to pan. In a separate dish mix 1 can mushroom soup, 1 package gravy mix and required water measurement from gravy package. Whisk them together, if using canned mushrooms then add them in the sauce. Pour over top of pork chops, cover and simmer on medium until desired consistency and doneness. The longer it simmers the more tender your chops.

Personal Notes:
I like to substitute part of the water measurement with cream milk! Not exactly a calorie saver though! We serve it with rice, but potatoes and noodles are good too. This recipe is good for slow cooker or oven as well, less tending but more time.
