2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. orange peel
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz) package dried cranberries
2/3 c. white chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, orange peel, and salt in a separate bowl. *Be sure you do this in this recipe as it makes a difference. Add to butter mixture in several additions, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the cranberries and white chocolate chips. It will be a little sticky but do not add extra flour. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-9 minutes. Do not over bake.
