1/4th. stick of butter
1/4th. cup pecans, broken into medium-size pieces
1/4th. cup soft bread crumbs
1 1/2 pound fresh green beans (do not use Kentucky Wonders; they are too tough for this recipe)
1 Tbs. bacon drippings
1 clove minced garlic
1 small onion, minced
1 beef bouillon cube

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in bacon drippings. Add drained green beans, bouillon cube, and 1 cup of water. Cook until beans are fork tender. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add pecan pieces and bread crumbs stirring constantly over low heat. Cook until pecans and bread crumbs are toasted. Place beans in a serving dish and sprinkle with the topping. Enjoy!
