2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
3 Tb.butter
1 C light corn syrup
3/4 C sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C chopped pecans
1 9" unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter.
In a separate pan, simmer syrup and sugar for 2 min. Add chocolate mixture and cool slightly.
Add salt to eggs. Slowly dribble chocolate mixture into eggs, stirring constantly. Blend in vanilla and nuts.
Pour into pie shell and bake for 35 min.
Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

It's good cold from the fridge or slightly heated in the microwave.
