1 large onion
2 garlic cloves
olive oil
4 large cans (28-32oz) of plum tomatoes
4 small cans of tomato paste
1 T sugar
dried basil to taste
dried oregano to taste
(if using the larger 32oz cans of tomatoes, use one more can of paste)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion and garlic in olive oil until tender- not brown.
Add tomato paste and stir well.
Crush the tomatoes in the blender and add to pot.
Add sugar, basil and oregano and stir well.
Simmer for 5-6 hours.

Add thick sliced and Hebrew National salami, and pepperoni in 1 inch chunks for the last two hours of cooking.
