3 eggs & a pinch of salt, beat about 3 minutes at high speed. Add 2 c. of sugar, beat at medium speed. Add 2 c. flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla & beat

Add 1 c. of hot milk and 1/4 c. butter

Directions:

Grease and flour 2, 8 inch pans (first), set aside. Turn oven on to 375 and make sure it is warm. Then put milk and butter on to get hot. Start your eggs and follow as stated above. Don't let your milk and butter be cold when it is added to your cake mixture.

Bake until when touched it springs back. About 30-35 minutes.
