6 medium potatoes
2 T. water with 1/2 t. lemon juice
1/2 medium onion, grated
6 T. flour
2 eggs ,beaten
1&1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. nutmeg
2 T. minced parsley
3-4 T. butter
4 strips crisp bacon

Peel and grate potatoes into water and lemon juice. Drain,squeezing out excess moisture. Add onion and mix. Add flour, eggs and spices. Mix thoroughly. Form patties and fry on hot skillet.
