6-8 ripe tomatoes
1 medium onion
bay leave
celery salt
pepper
1-2 tbs. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and quarter 6 - 8 ripe tomatoes. Put into a sauce pan with 1 medium chopped onion. Add season as desired. Part of bay leave, celery salt, pepper and 1-2 tbs sugar. Tomatoes are usually liquid enough, no additional water is needed . Cover and simmer 5-15 minutes or until soft. If the tomatoes seem greasy a few bread crumbs may be added. Can be thicken with corn starch dissolved in cold water.
