1 head red cabbage
2 cups red wine vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cube butter
1 cup sugar
1 large apple

Directions:
Directions:
Chop cabbage fine. Melt butter in large pot. Add sugar and mix. Add cabbage and coat, cook slightly till cabbage turns a bright purple. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, put lid on, turn down and simmer 1 hour. Taste. Add more sugar or butter as needed.
