1/2 cup granulated sugar.
1/2 cup shortening (could be Crisco).
1/2 cup brown sugar.
1/2 cup peanut butter.
1 egg.
1 1/4 cup sifted flour.
1/2 tsp baking powder.
1/2 tsp salt.
1 package of semi-sweet tidbits.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except tidbits in large bowl. Melt tidbits on top of stove in medium pan. Roll the dough out and spread chocolate mixture on to the dough, roll up like a jelly roll. Cut the rolls in half and put in frig for 5 minutes. Remove from frig and slice the rolls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes.

My kids loved them. We made them every year at Christmas. Mom's were the best but we came pretty close a couple of times. Try it, you'll like it.
