½ cup sugar
½ cup vinegar
beet juice (1-2 tbsp.)
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice from beets. (Reserve remainder of juice if sauce gets too thick) Add cornstarch to juice; add sugar and vinegar. Stir together and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add beets, then simmer until beets are heated.
