½ cup or one stick of butter or margarine softened
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup of packed light brown sugar
½ cup of creamy peanut butter
1 egg
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of all purpose flour
½ teaspoon of baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 bag of small peanut butter cups (break into small pieces)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, egg and vanilla in large bowl until fluffy. Stir flour, baking soda and salt, gradually add to butter mixture. Beat until well blended.
Drop by heaping teaspoon on to an ungreased cookie sheet.
Place 3-4 small pieces of candy into the cookies.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are lightly brown and remove from oven.
Cool slightly; remove from pan to wire rack, then cool completely.
Makes about 2-½ dozen cookies.
