1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 lbs. pizza sausage
1 chopped onion
28 oz jar Italian sauce
1 large cans Hunts Herb Sauce
1 large can mushrooms
1 lb. mozzarella cheese (sliced or shredded)
2 C. small curd cottage cheese
2 C. cheddar cheese (shredded)
salt and pepper
2 T. fennel seed
2 T. oregano
1/4 tsp. sweet basil leaves
1 C. red wine (or red cooking wine)
8-10 lasagna noodles cooked

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef, sausage and onion and add this to tomatoes, Hunts sauce, mushrooms, wine and seasonings. Simmer for 30 minutes - 1 hour.

Layer in 9 X 13 pan - a little sauce first, then noodles, cheese and meat sauce. Complete two layers ending with meat sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake at 350º for about 40 minutes. Let cool about 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
