4 C. flour
1 1/2 C. lard
1 tsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg
1 T. vinegar
1/2 C. water
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, salt, and shortening together. Beat egg with fork until mixed, add water and vinegar. Pour over flour mixture all at one time. Let stand several minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Mix with fork.

There were no instructions with the recipe, so I found these online. I'm sure Mom and Grandma did not need instructions, but I'm sure most of us do. Also, shortening can be used instead of lard.
